This practice is unique to The Bay Area.

Several practices describe themselves as using “natural” or “holistic”, “integrative”, “functional”, “translational”, “evidence-based” or “traditional” approaches. This practice is proud to offer the only comprehensive integration of all the above.

In addition, Dr. Traver is the only Bay Area physician to regularly attend both the Stanford Autism Working Group and the University of California San Francisco Autism and Neurodevelopmental Program research meetings. He attends the Synchrony translational research conferences for autism sponsored by The Brain Foundation. He is a member of The PANDAS Physicians Network, is a regular attendee of the Foundation for Children with Neuroimmune Disorders meeting webinars and is in active communication with the Stanford PANDAS/PANS Clinic. He employs agents currently offered in research studies which may be otherwise challenging to procure due to limited enrollment.Dr. Traver is uniquely qualified to see patients diagnosed with autism.

Not only does Dr. Traver utilize interventions shared by other health care practitioners, such as nutritionists, naturopaths or those whose background is family practice, but he is a board certified pediatrician by The American Board of Pediatrics and an award winning Fellow of The American Academy of Pediatrics. His years in practice as a pediatrician and professional credentials offer his patients some of the most comprehensive care available. He is proactive in contacting both local and national researchers in autism and related disorders.

However, Dr. Traver also believes strongly in practicing as a member of a diversified health care team for each patient, which offers families the strongest platform for clinical benefit. For this reason, he collaborates with many different health care practitioners, both in academic centers as well as in private practice.
